Job ID:	Sr. Java Developer	Duration:	12 months

JOB DESCRIPTION: Candidates must have the following experience for the Pricing project- Object Oriented programmer with 3+ years Java Development experience- 2+ years J2EE development experience *EJB’s– Experience with SQL , Oracle– Experience developing and deploying in Eclipse and Websphere or other application development or server environment – Experience writing automated test cases using JUnit - Ability to work well in a small team environment- Nice to have experience ( in priority order ):- JMS, MQ, Web Services, Subversion, Rally, Development experience with an agile, iterative, architecture centric, test frequently development methodology. Major Responsibilities: • Participate in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions. • Utilize object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test software systems. • Uses test driven development techniques including JUnit. • Investigate and resolve problems on software products and systems. • Provide 24/7 support, on a rotation basis. • Identify areas for code improvement and refactor code. • Participate in requirements review sessions. • Contribute to project estimation process. • Perform peer code reviews. • Prepare system documentation. • Develop new software modules in an iterative way that will collectively form a larger application • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance • Estimate work to be done as part of an overall agile process • Coordinate application implementation and test functionality to ensure specifications are met
